I looked at the old photo of the Methodist Church. Built by J.R. Moon and Sons, these craftsmen did a wonderful job building many sturdy structures in the borough. The bell that used to sit atop the church was brought in by train to the local railroad station; then brought from there to the church. Very heavy, these folk of yesteryear handled their jobs well.

The outdoor chimes of the Presbyterian Church fill our little community with beautiful hymns twice daily. This reminds one of smalltown Americana, and a Norman Rockwell painting. Thanks to whomever got the chimes working!
